What you'll do

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the deployment and distribution of products to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
• Analyze data related to supply chain performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to coordinate logistics and ensure seamless product flow.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels across various distribution centers, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and minimizing excess stock.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of distribution processes, including shipping schedules, routing, and delivery timelines.
• Utilize advanced software tools and systems to track shipments, manage logistics operations, and generate reports for management review.
• Conduct regular assessments of transportation costs and service levels, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.
• Engage in problem-solving activities to address any disruptions in the supply chain, ensuring minimal impact on customer service.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate updates on distribution plans and collaborate on joint initiatives.

• Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on the effectiveness of distribution strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related role, preferably within a distribution environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tools, such as ERP systems, TMS, and data analytics platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges in the supply chain.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to transportation and distribution.

Nice to have

• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP, or similar) is a plus.
• Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.
