What you'll do
- Coordinate and execute medical evacuation missions, ensuring the safe transport of injured personnel from the scene to medical facilities.
- Assess the medical needs of casualties and provide immediate care during transport, utilizing advanced life support techniques as necessary.
- Collaborate with military and civilian medical teams to develop and implement effective evacuation plans tailored to specific scenarios.
- Maintain and operate medical evacuation equipment, ensuring all tools and vehicles are in optimal condition for immediate deployment.
- Conduct pre-mission briefings with team members to outline objectives, roles, and safety protocols, ensuring everyone is prepared for the operation.
- Monitor and document the condition of patients throughout the evacuation process, providing accurate reports to receiving medical facilities.
- Participate in training exercises and simulations to enhance skills and readiness for real-world scenarios, ensuring compliance with military standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest medical practices, technologies, and regulations relevant to CASEVAC and MEDEVAC operations.

- Provide mentorship and training to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team.

Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency medical services, military medicine, or a related field.
- Certification as a Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is required; additional certifications in advanced life support are preferred.
- Proven experience in CASEVAC or MEDEVAC operations, with a strong understanding of military protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey critical information clearly and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding tasks in challenging environments, including lifting and transporting patients.
