About the role
Arch is hiring a Senior Recruiter to lead searches across the company and own some of our most complex, specialized, and leadership-level hires. You will own full-cycle recruiting for a diverse range of roles, including unique, one-off, and higher-level searches that demand strong judgment and discretion. You will partner closely with senior leaders on role definition, hiring strategy, and talent evaluation to ensure alignment with business objectives. You will maintain strong pipeline health and provide clear reporting and insights to stakeholders, driving informed decision-making. You will build and execute sourcing strategies to attract exceptional talent across a variety of functions and seniority levels. You will deliver a consistently excellent candidate experience through thoughtful communication and structured evaluation processes. You will improve and operationalize recruiting processes, tools, and best practices as we scale to meet growing demands. You will provide coaching, guidance, and calibration support to interviewers and hiring managers while contributing to team development and mentoring junior teammates.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify hiring needs and forecast talent requirements.
- Leverage data and metrics to optimize sourcing channels and improve time-to-fill and quality-of-hire.
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies and employment laws throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Coordinate interview schedules and manage candidate communications to maintain a seamless process.
- Assess candidate fit through structured interviews and feedback synthesis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with passive candidates and niche talent pools.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts by building a broad and inclusive candidate pipeline.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement innovative recruitment techniques and technologies to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Act as a subject matter expert on recruitment strategies and best practices within the organization.
- Work closely with HR operations to ensure an efficient and scalable recruitment workflow.
- Participate in special projects related to talent acquisition strategy and organizational development.
Requirements
- 4-7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including at least 2 years of in-house recruiting at a fast-growing or dynamic company.
- Proven success hiring for highly specialized or executive-level roles and working directly with company executives as internal stakeholders.
- Strong sourcing capability and comfort navigating ambiguous or newly created roles.
- Excellent communication skills and experience partnering directly with senior leadership.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Good judgment, ability to prioritize, and comfort operating independently.
- Excitement for improving processes, building recruiting infrastructure, and contributing to team development.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies.
- Strong understanding of employment law and best practices in hiring.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in the financial services industry is a significant advantage.
- Track record of building and sustaining high-performing teams.
- Experience conducting behavioral and situational interviews.
- Familiarity with compensation benchmarking and market data analysis.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive hiring matters.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality hires on time and within budget.
- Experience with diversity sourcing strategies and inclusive hiring practices.
- Strong relationship-building skills with hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
Practical notes
Most of our full-time roles are based onsite at our New York City office, where our team thrives on in-person collaboration and dynamic teamwork. Being onsite daily enables us to build strong connections, move quickly, and deliver exceptional service to our clients.
For select roles, we are also open to candidates based in Boston. If a role is open to Boston, it will be listed explicitly in the job location.
