Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop and manage budgets, rolling forecasts, and track variances between actuals and budget.
- Take responsibility for comprehensive financial planning for designated OPEX departments, covering headcount and operating expenses.
- Serve as a business partner and advisor to management within various business units.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Create and maintain financial and operational models and related procedures.
- Design, automate, and enhance FP&A processes and systems to adapt to a rapidly changing business landscape.
- Analyze financial results to identify trends, outliers, and areas for performance optimization.
- Support the preparation of board-level materials and executive presentations with accurate data narratives.
- Partner with finance leadership to establish benchmarks and key performance indicators.
- Implement controls and checks to ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Translate business requirements into financial scenarios and assess the associated implications.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, or a comparable finance business partnering role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience working with senior management within business units or departments.
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail, accuracy, and problem-solving.
- Ability to independently manage projects and see them through to completion.
- Familiarity with AI tools in FP&A processes.
- Proficient in ERP systems, with experience in NetSuite considered a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in Economics or Accounting is required.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Willingness to adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in all financial deliverables.
- Understanding of SaaS business models and key financial metrics is advantageous.
