Partner Solutions Engineer
Job description
About the role
The role blends engineering work with partner enablement to ensure strategic integrations succeed. Team members directly influence the integration ecosystem while supporting high-value partners. This position is responsible for architecting robust integration patterns that allow partners to reliably move data and execute campaigns. The hire will translate complex product capabilities into actionable technical workflows that accelerate time to value. Ownership of the end-to-end integration journey is central to this position, covering everything from initial design to production stability. The engineer will act as a trusted advisor, using technical expertise to remove blockers and unlock revenue opportunities. Success is measured by the stability of integrations and the satisfaction of partners using them. This role requires a balance of deep technical implementation and high-level consultation.
Key facts
What you'll do
Design and own the end-to-end onboarding flows for critical integration touchpoints including CAPI, web SDK, and core APIs.
Break down complex implementation details into clear, step-by-step guides so partners can deploy tracking and data infrastructure correctly on the first attempt.
Serve as the primary technical contact during integration pilots, managing API flows and sandbox testing to unblock partners quickly and reduce cycle time.
Convert intricate product requirements into structured documentation and clear guidance that serves both technical and non-technical audiences.
Query large datasets and build visualizations to identify anomalies, performance regressions, and attribution inconsistencies in partner data streams.
Catalog recurring friction points observed in partner workflows and translate them into concrete product improvement suggestions for engineering teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to shape solutions for integration challenges, presenting insights at scale.
Connect partners critical to growth with internal product and engineering stakeholders so that feedback directly steers product roadmaps.
Influence decision-making by presenting data-centric insights and performance metrics to internal stakeholders and leadership.
Drive adoption of integration features by creating operational playbooks and troubleshooting frameworks that standardize partner behavior.
Maintain a sharp focus on reliability, ensuring integration patterns are robust, observable, and maintainable in production environments.
Requirements
Professional software engineering experience with production-quality code in dynamic environments spans at least two years.
Formal education or equivalent practical experience covers computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
A solid foundation in web-based integrations includes CAPI, server-side tracking, APIs, pixels, or similar ad tech infrastructure.
At least one scripting or general-purpose language such as Python or JavaScript must be used to build lightweight tooling independently.
Experience with querying large data sets using SQL and direct data debugging supports validating and surfacing insights.
Clear written communication skills serve both internal technical discussions and external partner conversations.
The candidate must operate comfortably in fast-moving contexts where documentation may be incomplete and answers are not immediately available.
A demonstrated ability to explain technical decisions in plain language is required to bridge gaps between engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
Experience in ad tech, performance marketing, or e-commerce advertising includes familiarity with attribution, data signals, ROAS, and measurement concepts.
Hands-on work with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Google Tag Manager, or equivalent tools is present.
Working with enterprise or strategic B2B partners in a technical capacity is familiar.
A track record of spotting product gaps from operational work and driving improvements into engineering roadmaps exists.
Comfort in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where answers are not always documented is required.
Prior experience in solutions engineering, partner engineering, or forward-deployed engineering roles is valued.
