About the role
AppLovin is on the lookout for a dynamic individual to spearhead the development and expansion of referral partnerships within the eCommerce industry. This position is centered around forging connections with influential figures, community leaders, and agency proprietors who can facilitate introductions to potential advertisers. You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of partnerships, from the initial outreach to contract finalization and the nurturing of ongoing relationships.

USA Base Pay Range (CA, NY, WA): $153,000 - $200,000 USD
USA Base Pay Range (all other states): $130,000 - $170,000 USD
What you'll do
- Identify and cultivate a network of influential "super-connectors," including key figures in the eCommerce sector, community leaders, and agencies, while also exploring relevant platform partnerships.
- Craft partnership agreements that reflect a share of advertiser spending, utilizing flat-rate or hybrid compensation structures when suitable.
- Manage the complete deal-closing process, from initial outreach to obtaining signed contracts, ensuring a smooth transition from negotiation to execution.
- Build and maintain robust personal relationships with partners, which may involve in-person meetings and travel as necessary to strengthen connections.
- Supervise a portfolio of performance-driven partnerships, ensuring that payouts are in line with the spending of advertisers.
- Assess the effectiveness of partnerships, prioritizing successful collaborations while efficiently phasing out those that do not meet performance expectations.
- Develop scalable processes that enhance the effectiveness of partnership models, ensuring they can grow with the business.
- Track and analyze partnership return on investment (ROI), accurately attributing revenue and identifying new advertisers generated through these partnerships.
Requirements
- A deep understanding of the eCommerce landscape, along with a well-established network capable of delivering a steady stream of qualified advertisers.
- A proven track record of successfully closing substantial B2B deals across various compensation models, including flat fees, revenue sharing, and hybrid agreements.
- Exceptional networking skills, with a talent for initiating connections and recognizing the potential value of introductions from influential contacts.
- An operational mindset that is data-driven, focused on maximizing return on investment, and oriented toward taking decisive action.
- A systems-oriented perspective, recognizing how a single strong partnership can unlock a multitude of opportunities within the ecosystem.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
