About the role
You will own the narrative and positioning of the Apify platform, shaping how the market understands its capabilities and value. You will translate complex infrastructure into clear stories that resonate across audiences, from developers to enterprise teams. You will define and drive the go-to-market strategy for core platform components, ensuring alignment between product, sales, and customers. You will act as the voice of the platform, bridging gaps between technical execution and market understanding. You will measure the impact of every initiative and iterate based on real data and feedback. You will build strong relationships with partners and internal teams to amplify the reach of Apify's infrastructure. You will continuously monitor the competitive landscape to ensure Apify's messaging remains sharp and differentiated.

What you'll do
- Define the product narrative and value proposition for the Apify platform infrastructure, aligning roadmap priorities with market needs.
- Develop and execute end-to-end go-to-market strategies for compute, storage, proxy, APIs, and new platform features.
- Translate technical platform concepts such as compute units, Actor runtimes, batch and server-style execution, IAM, webhooks, schedules, and proxy chains into accessible messaging.
- Create demand and drive adoption through messaging frameworks, landing pages, documentation, blog content, and targeted campaigns.
- Establish and monitor definitions of success for platform feature adoption, tracking engagement and conversion across developer and enterprise segments.
- Design in-product and out-of-product touchpoints such as changelogs, in-app guidance, email sequences, and developer newsletters to sustain engagement.
- Partner with cross-functional groups to co-market solutions and expand presence across the developer ecosystem.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitive research in web scraping, AI marketplaces, and developer tooling to refine positioning.
- Analyze campaign performance using quantitative data to inform strategic decisions and roadmap inputs.
- Synchronize Sales, Marketing, Content, and DevRel teams to ensure consistent communication of platform capabilities and use cases.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to provide market feedback that influences feature decisions and launches.
- Champion the Apify platform in external forums, ensuring that use cases like fighting child trafficking, consumer protection, and AI chatbot data pipelines are clearly articulated.
- Build enablement materials that help internal and external audiences understand how to leverage Apify infrastructure effectively.
- Set up measurement frameworks that track feature-level engagement and long-term platform loyalty.
Requirements
- You have 5 or more years of experience in B2B product marketing, specifically within developer tools, infrastructure, or cloud platform environments.
- You have direct experience collaborating with product managers and engineering teams to bring products to market.
- You are technically curious and comfortable engaging with developer-facing products such as APIs, serverless compute, cloud infrastructure, and SDKs.
- You can speak the language of engineers while still making complex topics understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
- You have a proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies for technical infrastructure products.
- You can distill intricate platform concepts into clear narratives for solo developers, data engineering teams, and enterprise architects.
- You write and communicate with precision and clarity in English across a wide range of formats and audiences.
- You have hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms and developer tooling ecosystems, including AWS, GCP, Azure, serverless computing, or similar environments.
- You understand the fundamentals of web scraping, data extraction, and API-based data delivery.
- You are comfortable working with abstract systems and explaining their operational characteristics to others.
- You are self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- You are comfortable making decisions based on incomplete information while relying on data and stakeholder input.
- You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with datasets to derive insights about product adoption and performance.
- You are proactive in seeking feedback and aligning with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure message consistency.
Nice to have
- Experience with API marketplaces, developer platforms, or infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Background in data, web scraping, or automation ecosystems.
- Familiarity with no-code or low-code automation platforms.
- Exposure to AI-related tooling and marketplaces.
- Experience running developer advocacy, community programs, or technical enablement initiatives.
Practical notes
You will work full time from our Prague office. We expect you to be present in the office during regular working hours to build strong relationships with your teammates. Travel is not required for this role. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The successful candidate is expected to join as an individual contributor and will be evaluated on their ability to execute within the first six months.
