What you'll do

• Lead the product development process by defining and prioritizing product features based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories that guide the development team.
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, ensuring clear communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the vision, strategy, and timeline for product releases and enhancements.
• Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, ensuring that Anaqua remains a leader in the IP management space.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to iterate on features and optimize the user experience.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create go-to-market strategies and promotional materials that effectively communicate product value to customers.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and pain points, using insights to inform product development and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in product development and management.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to represent Anaqua and stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the field.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or product ownership, preferably in the software industry.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products throughout their lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with user experience design principles and best practices.
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello is a plus.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of intellectual property management and related technologies is an advantage.
• Experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and innovative thinking.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).

• Proficient in product management software and tools, including JIRA, Confluence, and analytics platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Understanding of software development processes and methodologies, including DevOps practices.
