What you'll do

• Own critical product surfaces end-to-end from ideation to production and beyond, ensuring alignment between product vision and technical execution.
• Drive product direction in partnership with design and product leaders to define and deliver experiences that are intuitive, high-performing, and trustworthy.
• Build and evolve systems across React, Node.js, and Python that scale reliably with customer growth and complex use cases.
• Leverage modern AI tooling to dramatically accelerate development, prototyping, and iteration cycles, reducing time to validated learning.
• Raise the bar for engineering quality in code, architecture, and user experience through rigorous standards and continuous improvement.
• Lead by example via hands-on development, technical mentorship, and thoughtful decision-making that balances innovation with maintainability.
• Move fast on ambiguous problems, translating exploratory ideas into shipped, customer-facing value with measurable impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate complex requirements into robust product solutions that balance performance, reliability, and user trust.
• Champion best practices in product engineering to ensure systems remain scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term product goals.
• Partner with data and design teams to validate hypotheses and iterate based on real user behavior and analytics insights.
• Influence technical strategy and roadmap priorities through data-driven insights and deep user empathy.
• Contribute to the design of systems that support experimentation, learning, and optimization at scale across diverse customer environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of delivering impactful products.
• Education: B.S. in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field that provides foundational knowledge in algorithms, systems, and software design.
• Proven experience operating at a senior-level scope, including leading large, ambiguous initiatives that delivered significant business impact.
• Strong full-stack expertise with a solid understanding of frontend frameworks such as React and robust backend systems in Node.js and/or Python.
• A deep sense of ownership, demonstrated by proactively identifying problems and creating solutions without waiting for direction.
• Exceptional product taste, with a focus on details, usability, and building experiences that users love and rely on.
• An AI-native mindset, including active use and experimentation with modern AI tools to amplify personal and team impact and to rethink software development practices.
• Ability to balance speed and quality in a high-velocity, demanding environment while maintaining clarity and focus on long-term outcomes.
• Strong judgment in technical trade-offs and system design decisions, including scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Comfort working within a data-driven culture where insights from analytics and experimentation directly influence priorities and validate outcomes.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including product managers, designers, data analysts, and executive leadership.

• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and tooling that enhance productivity and code quality.
• Background in analytics, experimentation, or product data platforms, including event design and behavioral data strategies.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and state management patterns beyond React, including performance and accessibility best practices.
• Understanding of scalable backend architectures, data-intensive systems, and distributed design patterns that support high-growth scenarios.
• Exposure to high-growth product environments requiring rapid iteration, experimentation, and continuous learning under uncertainty.
• Previous work in organizations where product analytics and experimentation are core to decision-making and product optimization.
