About the role
Amplitude is actively searching for an Enterprise Account Executive to take ownership of a demanding territory focused on high-growth organizations. In this position, you will be responsible for balancing your time between the London office located near Borough Market and active field engagements to ensure strong product adoption. Your primary mission will be to identify new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships to drive sustainable revenue growth. You will act as a strategic partner to marketing, product, and engineering teams, aligning their platforms with the evolving needs of large enterprises. The role requires a disciplined approach to forecasting and pipeline management to meet and exceed aggressive targets. You will leverage a consultative selling style to uncover latent needs and position Amplitude as a critical component of the customer's digital transformation. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to build trust at the executive level and translate complex platform capabilities into clear business outcomes.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Assume ownership of a portfolio of enterprise clients ranging in size from 2,000 to 10,000 employees and annual revenue between 250 million and 500 million.
- Execute end-to-end sales cycles that involve discovery, crafting tailored product demonstrations, and delivering persuasive executive-level presentations.
- Champion the complete Amplitude platform suite, articulating both the technical architecture and the commercial value to cross-functional teams in marketing, product, and engineering.
- Act as a guide for customers navigating their AI product development maturity journey, helping them assess and advance their capabilities.
- Generate high-quality pipeline through a combination of outbound prospecting, close collaboration with SDRs, activation of marketing programs, and leveraging partner ecosystems.
- Secure net new business deals that expand your territorial footprint and increase wallet share within existing accounts.
- Apply the MEDDPICC framework rigorously to qualify every lead, identify economic buyers, and maintain accurate forecasting discipline.
- Orchestrate seamless coordination with internal departments including Solutions Consultants, Customer Success, Legal, and SDRs to guarantee delivery of customer value.
- Conduct in-depth competitive displacement exercises to help clients recognize the limitations of their current tools and the advantages of migrating to Amplitude.
- Develop sophisticated narrative structures that connect data insights to strategic business objectives for C-suite decision-makers.
- Utilize consultative questioning techniques to reveal underlying pain points and map them to the appropriate Amplitude solution bundles.
- Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions to ensure continuity and enable transparent handoffs across the revenue cycle.
Requirements
- Bring prior experience in enterprise SaaS or AI sales to the table, with a proven history of managing deal sizes typically valued between 50,000 and 300,000 ARR.
- Demonstrate a hunter mentality, showing consistent ability to create new pipeline and execute land-and-expand strategies within existing accounts.
- Show practical application of the MEDDPICC methodology, using it as a central tool for deal qualification and risk assessment.
- Display the capability to engage confidently with C-suite stakeholders, focusing on extracting and articulating business value rather than merely listing feature sets.
- Illustrate skill in multi-threading complex platform sales, navigating multiple stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.
- Exhibit an empathetic and curious mindset throughout the sales process, ensuring that customer needs dictate the solution narrative.
- Possess a strong commitment to compliance and data security standards relevant to enterprise software procurement.

- Experience operating in a fast-paced SaaS environment where quota attainment is a core performance indicator.
- Track record of collaborating effectively with technical pre-sales teams to build compelling business cases.
