You will architect and deliver the core AI features that define the real-time documentation experience for clinicians across the country. You will partner closely with product and design to shape user journeys and translate complex clinical workflows into intuitive, high-performance software. This role demands extreme ownership over the full lifecycle of your initiatives, from initial discovery through production deployment and iteration. You will be a primary engineer responsible for ensuring that new capabilities are reliable, scalable, and crafted with long-term maintainability in mind. The position requires deep collaboration across teams to solve ambiguous problems that directly impact clinician efficiency and patient care. You will leverage cutting-edge AI advancements within a portfolio company backed by leading investors to build solutions that restore humanity to healthcare. What you'll do
- Design and architect major product features leveraging the latest advancements in AI to deliver a magical user experience for clinicians.
- Anticipate system bottlenecks and proactively re-architect key system components before they create issues for our customers and partners.
- Lead product initiatives with high strategic value, accelerating speed of iteration while preventing accumulation of technical debt across the codebase.
- Hold the codebase to a high standard, and assist in developing engineering processes that encourage shipping high quality, reliable code that reaches production.
- Move seamlessly across the stack to take projects to the finish line, utilizing solid experience in modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP and Postgres.
- Partner with product and design teams to shape user experiences, ensuring that the end-user journey is thoughtful, efficient, and aligned with clinical workflows.
- Contribute to a culture of extreme ownership by solving hard problems, fixing issues in production, and ensuring continuity for health system partners.
- Work within an environment of high complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity, making decisions that balance speed with long-term platform integrity.

Requirements
- You have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent.
- You have 5+ years of experience tackling challenging zero-to-one software engineering problems that have spanned multiple teams and stakeholders.
- You have a strong product instinct and consistently think about the end user experience, not just the technical implementation of features.
- You are comfortable moving across the entire technology stack to take projects to the finish line.
- You have solid experience with modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure, including platforms such as AWS or GCP, Postgres, and Docker.
- You have a demonstrated ability to own execution from initial conception through to successful production outcomes and long-term maintenance.
- You are a low-ego team player who prioritizes co-discovering the best ideas, even when they are not originally your own.
