Ambience Healthcare is on the lookout for a Senior HR Business Partner to spearhead our human resources operations. In this pivotal position, you will collaborate closely with leadership to craft and execute HR strategies that align with our organizational goals. As the main liaison for people managers, your focus will be on enhancing manager capabilities and refining goal-setting processes throughout the company.

• Tier 1: $139,200 - $182,700 annually
• Tier 2: $132,240 - $173,565 annually
• Tier 3: $125,280 - $164,430 annually

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary consultant for people managers, guiding them through essential HR processes such as performance evaluations, goal formulation, and initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement.
• Create and implement a robust training program for managers, which includes onboarding for new leaders and a curriculum focused on AI integration for the entire workforce.
• Manage the organization's goal-setting framework, ensuring the clarity and quality of objectives and key results, while developing systems that empower teams to track their progress autonomously.
• Provide strategic advice to leadership on matters related to employee relations, organizational structure, and workforce planning in partnership with the Head of People.
• Enhance HR operations by automating routine processes through the use of existing tools and AI technologies, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, presenting actionable insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure HR initiatives are aligned with business objectives and effectively communicated across the organization.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback from managers and employees, and using this information to refine HR practices.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of progressive experience in HR, with a focus on HR Business Partner roles and a proven ability to coach managers.
• Strong capability to collaborate with business leaders, integrating HR strategies into their overarching goals.
• A history of recognizing issues and developing clear, practical solutions, along with a keen ability to identify trends early on.
• Experience in breaking down complex challenges and implementing solutions in stages, even when faced with incomplete data.
• Excellent judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee discussions and confidential information.
• Proficiency in influencing stakeholders without direct authority, establishing trust with seasoned leaders.
• Comprehensive knowledge of various HR functions, including business partnering, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, organizational design, and compensation principles.
• This position does not entail direct reports.

• Openness to working from the San Francisco office approximately three days a week.

• Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
• Familiarity with HR technology and AI tools for automating processes.
