What you'll do

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines that facilitate seamless integration and deployment of applications across various environments.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to identify and resolve build and deployment issues, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks or failures in the build and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation for CI/CD processes, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge sharing across teams.
• Implement security best practices within the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that all deployments adhere to compliance and security standards.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness in our deployment strategies.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems, addressing incidents and outages as they arise.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with QA teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring that code quality is maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
• Engage in regular retrospectives to assess the effectiveness of current processes and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Build/CI Engineering role, with a strong focus on CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar, to automate tasks and streamline workflows.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, and a deep understanding of their configuration and management.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience in deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and a desire to stay current with industry advancements.

Nice to have

• Experience in the gaming or betting industry, with an understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of this sector.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
