What you'll do

• Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our gaming platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable infrastructure designs.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation of all infrastructure components.
• Manage cloud services and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Participate in capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure that infrastructure can support future growth and demands.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance our infrastructure capabilities.
• Assist in the development and execution of disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures.
• Engage in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a similar role within the technology sector.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in the iGaming or online gaming industry is highly desirable.
• Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or ITIL, would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
