About the role
ALTEN Technology delivers engineering programs for aerospace, medical, and automotive programs. The role defines electrical distribution strategies to enable safe power and data delivery for next-generation vehicles. You will own the definition of component and system engineering requirements to ensure harness and module decisions are perfectly aligned with program needs. In this capacity, you will create and develop engineering designs and concepts that organize power and data paths for vehicle platforms in a clear and executable manner. You will perform packaging, tolerance, and feasibility studies to verify fit, clearance, and thermal performance under real-world constraints. You will develop CAD models, drawings, and engineering releases using tools such as CATIA 3Dx, 3D Experience, or V5 for harness and module routes with precision. You will support CAE analysis, prototype builds, testing, sourcing, and validation to confirm design intent translates correctly into hardware. You will resolve design, manufacturing, quality, and launch issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions to keep projects on track. You will manage engineering changes and documentation so that product definitions remain consistent and traceable from concept to launch. You will apply proven concept-to-production vehicle development practices and systematic problem-solving across the entire program lifecycle to drive successful outcomes.

Requirements
