Requirements
BS or higher in electrical/electronics/systems/mechanical engineering or related field. 3-5 years of experience in controller validation, controller integration, or related field. Experience debugging complex electrical, electronic, and software-controlled systems in real-world conditions. Experience diagnosing CAN, CANFD, LIN or Ethernet network issues to ensure robust communication. Experience using MATLAB, Linux, Python, C++ or equivalent tools for modeling and analysis in engineering workflows. Ability to communicate complex technical issues in simple, definitive, and accurate terms to diverse stakeholders.
Nice to have
Experience with Vector tools to streamline validation workflows. Experience in failure analysis, fault trees, or hazard and risk analysis for safety-critical systems. Experience automating controller verification steps with Cursor or other AI tools to improve efficiency. Experience with end-to-end traceability tools such as Polarion or equivalent applications for compliance. Experience with ASPICE to assess process maturity and quality.
Skills & tools
Methodologies for validation and testing in automotive or robotics environments. Data analysis using log files, source code, and system-level diagnostics. Scripting and programming in Python, C++, and MATLAB. Network protocols including CAN, CANFD, LIN, and Ethernet. Collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams.
