About the role
Algolia is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our Revenue Operations team as a GTM Data Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, governance, and operational health of our customer and prospect data across all go-to-market systems. Your primary focus will be maintaining data integrity and quality, which are essential for supporting effective marketing, sales, customer success, and analytics initiatives. You will work closely with various teams to implement data standards, troubleshoot issues, and support system integrations, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of our GTM technology stack. Key facts
What you'll do
- Oversee the operational health and accuracy of customer and prospect data, including leads, contacts, and accounts, ensuring data is complete, reliable, and up-to-date across all relevant platforms.
- Manage data governance policies for key go-to-market systems such as Salesforce and Marketo, establishing standards for data quality, validation rules, and operational procedures to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Conduct regular data hygiene activities, including deduplication, standardization, and enrichment, working collaboratively with system owners and stakeholders to resolve data integrity issues promptly.
- Partner with business teams and stakeholders to evaluate and approve requests for new data fields, data structures, or modifications, ensuring changes align with overall data governance standards and do not compromise data quality.
- Monitor data synchronization processes and troubleshoot issues related to data flow between integrated systems, such as Salesforce, Marketo, and other GTM tools, to ensure seamless data exchange and prevent discrepancies.
- Support the operational aspects of new system integrations, including onboarding new tools and decommissioning outdated or redundant systems, to keep the tech stack current and efficient.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for data management processes, governance standards, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure clarity and consistency across teams.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track data quality metrics, providing visibility into data health and enabling proactive management of data issues.
- Collaborate with IT, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to understand their data needs and implement solutions that improve data accuracy and usability.
- Assist in training and educating team members on data governance best practices, data entry standards, and system functionalities to foster a data-driven culture.
- Participate in audits and reviews of data processes to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving data workflows, automation, and system integrations to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, CRM Administration, Data Operations, or a similar go-to-market operations role.
- Must be located in the Eastern Time (ET) or Central Time (CT) zone within the United States.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and core CRM data management principles, including handling leads, contacts, and accounts.
- Experience working with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo and GTM data enrichment tools like Demandbase, 6sense, ZoomInfo, Clearbit, or Apollo.
- Familiarity with CRM architecture, lead lifecycle management, data enrichment processes, and system integrations within a GTM technology ecosystem.
- Proven ability to maintain high data quality through governance, validation rules, deduplication, and regular hygiene practices.
- Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and troubleshooting system integrations to resolve data synchronization issues effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data quality metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document processes clearly.
- Experience supporting or managing enterprise SaaS platforms and understanding of data privacy and compliance standards is a plus.
Nice to have
- Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent practical experience managing Salesforce environments.
- Prior experience working with GTM data platforms such as Demandbase, 6sense, ZoomInfo, Clearbit, or Apollo.
- Background supporting enterprise B2B SaaS organizations in a similar capacity.
- Familiarity with AI-driven workflows, modern data governance practices, and enterprise GTM technology ecosystems.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards relevant to data management.
