About the role

You will join the Growth organization to improve how users interact with and adopt our AI search platform. This role focuses on building a new Growth platform, refining user experiences, and mentoring engineering team members to ensure our product remains accessible and effective. You will architect solutions that translate complex business requirements into robust technical implementations while maintaining a sharp focus on user needs. The position requires you to balance strategic platform thinking with hands-on execution across the full stack. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to turn ambiguous problems into measurable experiments. Your work will directly influence how our AI search capabilities are adopted and optimized for different user segments. Expect to operate with ownership and initiative in shaping the future of our growth infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design and build a scalable platform to support company growth initiatives, ensuring the architecture can handle increasing loads and evolving requirements.
• Run A/B tests and experiments to determine the most effective product solutions, using statistical analysis to validate hypotheses and guide decisions.
• Collaborate with design and product departments to identify new opportunities, translating abstract concepts into concrete technical specifications.
• Mentor engineers and help establish technical best practices, fostering a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Improve internal tooling, engineering quality, and team processes to reduce friction and increase the efficiency of development workflows.
• Contribute to defining the team roadmap using a bottom-up approach, synthesizing feedback and data to prioritize impactful initiatives.
• Implement features using Ruby and Golang, leveraging your proficiency in server-side languages to build reliable backend services.
• Develop user-facing interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and HTML/CSS, creating responsive and accessible experiences for diverse audiences.
• Integrate with cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, configuring services to support high availability and optimal performance.
• Utilize analytics tools such as Amplitude and Hex to track user behavior and measure the success of implemented solutions.
• Work with marketers and engineers to deliver tailored user experiences that meet the specific needs of different stakeholder groups.
• Maintain and enhance the reliability of event-driven infrastructure, ensuring data flows smoothly through the system for analysis and action.

Requirements

• Experience with event-driven infrastructure in AWS or GCP, demonstrating your ability to design systems that respond to real-time data streams.
• Proficiency in a server-side language, with a willingness to work in Ruby and Golang, showing adaptability to the tech stack required by the team.
• Fullstack development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and HTML/CSS, indicating competence in both frontend and backend development.
• A data-driven mindset focused on analyzing the impact of product changes, using metrics to inform decisions and iterate on solutions.
• Ability to deliver user experiences tailored to diverse audiences, including marketers and engineers, recognizing the different needs across user types.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to debug complex issues in distributed systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners.
• A commitment to learning and applying best practices in software engineering, security, and code review.

• Previous experience working in a Growth team or a scale-up environment, exposing you to fast-paced product development.
