About the role
Aleph is on the lookout for a dedicated professional to spearhead the creation and implementation of its inaugural global performance management framework. This role is in connecting human behavior with compensation strategies and leadership expectations, ultimately establishing a sustainable and scalable system that will benefit the entire organization.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Establish clear performance principles and expectations for managers during the current evaluation cycle to provide immediate guidance.
- Work closely with the Culture and Performance Lead, Total Rewards team, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and the Chief People Officer (CPO) to ensure alignment in messaging and strategic direction.
- Develop comprehensive presentations for leadership, along with manager guides and frequently asked questions (FAQs) to facilitate effective organizational change.
- Design a long-term global performance framework that incorporates calibration logic and assessment methodologies.
- Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to effectively connect performance outcomes with merit increases and bonus distributions.
- Create analytical models that promote fairness, consistency, and defensible decision-making across various regions.
- Identify and outline training needs in partnership with the Talent Development team to ensure effective implementation of the framework.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the performance management framework, making adjustments as necessary based on feedback and results.
- Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to keep them informed about the framework's progress and any changes.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to educate managers and employees on the new performance management processes.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and insights that can inform future performance management strategies.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in human resources or people operations, particularly in managing senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in overseeing the complete design, implementation, and calibration of performance review cycles.
- Strong analytical capabilities, especially in relation to compensation distribution and the visualization of performance data.
- Exceptional skills in producing professional, clear, and persuasive documentation, as well as leadership presentations.
- Proven ability to navigate uncertain situations and manage complex, high-pressure projects effectively.
- A track record of influencing senior leadership while maintaining positive and diplomatic relationships with various stakeholders.
Nice to have
- An academic or professional background in business or organizational psychology would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with global performance management practices and trends.
- Experience in implementing change management strategies within an organization.

Practical notes
This position is fixed-term, lasting for 12 months. As the Performance Framework Architect, you will play a crucial role at the intersection of Culture, Total Rewards, and executive leadership.
