What you'll do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that aligns with Bamboohr's mission and goals, ensuring adherence to accreditation standards and institutional effectiveness.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to establish clear performance indicators and benchmarks for evaluating program effectiveness and institutional performance.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of academic programs and services to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Lead the preparation of accreditation reports and documentation, coordinating efforts across departments to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Facilitate training and professional development sessions for faculty and staff on quality assurance processes, assessment techniques, and best practices in institutional effectiveness.
• Analyze data related to student outcomes, program performance, and institutional effectiveness, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
• Serve as a liaison between Bamboohr and external accrediting bodies, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring that the institution meets all necessary requirements.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback from stakeholders, including students, faculty, and staff, and integrating their insights into quality assurance initiatives.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of a centralized repository for quality assurance documentation, ensuring easy access and transparency for all stakeholders.
• Participate in institutional planning and policy development, providing expertise on quality assurance and institutional effectiveness to support Bamboohr's strategic objectives.
• Monitor trends and developments in higher education quality assurance and institutional effectiveness, ensuring that Bamboohr remains at the forefront of best practices in the field.
• Prepare and present reports to senior leadership and governing bodies on the status of quality assurance initiatives and institutional effectiveness efforts.

Requirements

• A master's degree in education, higher education administration, or a related field; a doctoral degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, institutional effectiveness, or a related area within higher education.
• Proven track record of successful accreditation processes and experience working with accrediting agencies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing teams and projects.
• Familiarity with current trends and best practices in quality assurance and institutional effectiveness in higher education.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience in an international higher education context, particularly in the Middle East or similar regions.
• Knowledge of data management systems and software used for assessment and accreditation processes.
• Certification in quality assurance or institutional effectiveness from a recognized professional organization.
• Experience in conducting training sessions or workshops related to quality assurance and assessment.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Arabic, is a plus.
