What you'll do

• Lead the development and implementation of the strategic vision for the School of Business, aligning it with the overall mission of Aiu.
• Oversee the academic programs, ensuring they are relevant, rigorous, and aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Foster a culture of research and scholarship among faculty, encouraging collaboration and innovation in teaching and learning.
• Manage the recruitment, development, and evaluation of faculty and staff, promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
• Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders, including industry partners, alumni, and accreditation bodies, to enhance the school's visibility and reputation.
• Develop and manage the budget for the School of Business, ensuring financial sustainability and effective resource allocation.

Requirements

• A terminal degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in higher education, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within a business school.
• Proven track record of academic leadership, including experience in curriculum development, faculty recruitment, and program accreditation.
• Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing business education in a global context.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic settings.
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation, with a focus on sustainability and growth.
• Ability to inspire and motivate faculty, staff, and students to achieve their full potential.
• Familiarity with current trends in business and management education, including technology integration and online learning.
