About the role
You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of developer-facing narrative content that educates and converts technical founders. You translate complex product capabilities into compelling stories that demonstrate real-world value and accelerate adoption. You act as the primary storyteller for the engineering community, ensuring that every narrative reinforces Airwallex's position as the unified payments platform for global businesses. You will proactively source high-impact stories from customers and partners and turn them into proof points that drive credibility and trust. You work hand-in-hand with engineering and product teams to ensure technical accuracy and timely delivery of high-quality narratives. You leverage AI tools to work more efficiently and to synthesize large volumes of technical information into clear, actionable narratives. You will directly influence how builders and technical decision-makers perceive, evaluate, and adopt Airwallex products.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Own developer editorial content including narrative case studies, integration stories, technical deep dives, and reference architectures, working with Product and Engineering to turn new capabilities into narratives that move developers from evaluation to first integration.
- Proactively identify high-potential stories from customers, partners, and internal teams, and transform them into content that showcases real usage of Airwallex across production environments.
- Produce integration teardowns and technical explainers that help developers and technical founders evaluate Airwallex and understand how to implement key workflows.
- Own the publishing and distribution of developer content across key channels including YouTube, X/social media, the Airwallex website, and the developer hub.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content supports key priorities that need to reach founders, startups, and technical decision-makers in a timely and impactful manner.
- Partner closely with the DevX technical writing team to ensure alignment between narrative content and API reference and product documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve how stories are sourced, developed, and distributed, and introduce lightweight approaches that increase both quality and speed.
- Use data and qualitative feedback to iterate on content performance, refining narratives and distribution tactics to maximize engagement and adoption among developer audiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience creating technical or developer-facing content in roles such as Developer Relations, Technical Content, Developer Marketing, or similar positions.
- Strong ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly and compellingly to developers and technical founders.
- Proven track record of owning content initiatives from opportunity identification through to published output and measuring their impact.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving outcomes with limited structure or resources in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with experience producing narrative-driven content that resonates deeply with developer audiences.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to align technical narratives with product releases and roadmap priorities.
- Experience in fintech, payments, or developer platforms is a preferred background that supports success in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and clarity.

- Experience producing content that has driven measurable developer awareness, inbound interest, or adoption through calls to action and integrated experiences.
- A track record of improving how content is created or distributed through lightweight processes or frameworks that enhance scalability and consistency.
- Strong cross-functional influence skills and the proven ability to surface stories and priorities proactively across stakeholder teams.
