Agoda is on the lookout for a dynamic and strategic leader to spearhead operational enhancements and automation initiatives within our Supply organization. This role is crucial for refining workflows, ensuring compliance, and developing scalable systems that align with our global growth objectives. As the Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency and effectiveness across our operations.

What you'll do

• Lead strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, enhancing automation, and establishing governance frameworks within the Supply Operations team.
• Analyze data and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify operational risks and inefficiencies that need addressing.
• Collaborate closely with various departments including Product, Engineering, Analytics, Customer Experience, Finance, and Legal to design and implement scalable solutions.
• Oversee projects from the initial stages of requirement gathering and definition through to testing and final rollout, ensuring all phases are executed smoothly.
• Set and monitor performance metrics (KPIs) to guarantee operational consistency and effectiveness across the organization.
• Conduct thorough root cause analyses to address and resolve complex issues related to systems or workflows.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture that values accountability and encourages continuous improvement in all areas of operation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and alignment on operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout all operational processes.
• Drive innovation by staying updated on industry trends and best practices in supply operations and automation.
• Prepare and present reports on operational performance and project outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Operations, or a related discipline is required.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in transformation, operations management, project management, or process automation is essential.
• A proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects that have resulted in measurable business improvements.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams effectively, showcasing strong leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in SQL is required, along with experience in utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) or reporting platforms.
• Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new CRM tools, workflow software, and automation systems.
• Strong analytical skills, structured problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are vital for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience in the e-commerce, travel, marketplaces, or Online Travel Agency (OTA) sectors is advantageous.
• Familiarity with commercial operations, supply chain management, partner operations, or connectivity teams is a plus.
• Knowledge of low-code or no-code development tools and CRM workflow automation can be beneficial.
• Understanding of operational tooling ecosystems, APIs, and system integrations is desirable.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with BI and reporting tools to derive insights from data.
• Experience with CRM and workflow automation systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Strong background in process improvement methodologies and project management practices.
• Effective cross-functional stakeholder management skills to drive collaboration and project success.
