About the role
Agoda is seeking an entry-level analyst to join our Performance Marketing team in Bangkok. You will work with a global group of data scientists and strategists to optimize large-scale marketing programs through rigorous testing and quantitative modeling. In this capacity, you will serve as a critical link between raw data and strategic decision-making, ensuring that marketing investments are measured with precision and integrity. The role requires a disciplined approach to problem-solving, where your analytical outputs directly influence the efficiency and scale of our global campaigns. You will be responsible for owning specific segments of the marketing funnel, translating high-level objectives into actionable tests and clear reporting narratives. What you'll do
- Orchestrate the management and iterative refinement of search engine marketing campaigns across platforms including Google, Bing, Baidu, and Naver by designing controlled experiments on ad copy, bidding strategies, and account architecture.
- Deploy and continuously evaluate the performance of display marketing initiatives across social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, focusing on audience targeting and creative efficiency.
- Process massive volumes of structured and unstructured datasets to construct robust optimization models that identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for performance uplift.
- Engineer and maintain dynamic performance dashboards using spreadsheet and visualization tools to provide real-time visibility into key metrics for account managers.
- Conduct in-depth diagnostic analyses to isolate root causes of performance deviations and to validate the impact of specific marketing interventions.
- Synthesize quantitative findings into concise narratives that inform bidding adjustments, budget allocation, and audience segmentation strategies for senior stakeholders.
- Partner with technical teams to define data requirements and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and reproducibility of marketing analytics pipelines.
- Monitor competitive landscapes and market conditions to identify external factors that may influence campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Establish standardized reporting frameworks that enhance the consistency and clarity of performance reviews across the marketing organization.
- Contribute to the development of testing playbooks and documentation that codify best practices and enable scalability of marketing analytics operations.
- Translate business objectives into measurable key performance indicators, ensuring alignment between campaign activities and overarching corporate goals.
- Support ad hoc analyses and special projects that require advanced data manipulation and modeling to support time-sensitive business decisions.
- Maintain a rigorous quality assurance process for all analytical deliverables, ensuring that insights are accurate, reproducible, and actionable.
- Mentor junior team members on foundational analytical concepts and tools, fostering a data-literate culture within the Performance Marketing function.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics, or science from a top-tier university.
- Recent graduates are explicitly encouraged to apply, provided they can demonstrate strong evidence of relevant skills and intellectual capability.
- Exhibit strong numerical reasoning abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex datasets and derive meaningful insights without constant guidance.
