Code reviews are participated in to ensure code quality, maintainability, and reusability across distributed systems. Other team members are paired with to ensure high-quality outcomes through collaborative implementation and review.
Requirements
Java server-side software development experience is required to build core business logic and services. Designing, building, debugging, and operating distributed systems that scale globally is expected. Messaging protocols are designed and evolved to support high-throughput, low-latency communication. Software libraries are designed and evolved to simplify integration and reuse across products. Various forms of testing are applied to underpin software qualities, such as correctness and performance. Components and systems are measured, benchmarked, and profiled to guide optimization and reliability. Communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Analytical and problem-solving skills are strong to resolve complex issues in a distributed environment.
