What you'll do
- Develop and implement the medical strategy for assigned products, aligning with the overall business objectives of Acino.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to provide medical insights that inform marketing strategies and promotional materials.
- Lead the planning and execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary medical liaison for healthcare professionals, providing expert knowledge and addressing inquiries related to product safety and efficacy.
- Prepare and present scientific data at conferences and meetings, effectively communicating complex information to diverse audiences.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the preparation and review of clinical and scientific documents, including publications, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including pharmacovigilance and product labeling requirements.
- Train and mentor junior medical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including key opinion leaders and regulatory bodies, to enhance the visibility and credibility of Acino's products.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams, contributing medical expertise to support product development and lifecycle management.
- Evaluate and respond to unsolicited requests for information from healthcare professionals and organizations, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
Requirements
- A medical degree (MD) or a relevant advanced degree in life sciences.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on medical affairs or clinical development.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to drug development and commercialization.
- Proven experience in managing clinical trials and interacting with regulatory authorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret scientific data to inform decision-making.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
