What you'll do
Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and long-term retention with the company.
Identify untapped business opportunities within current accounts and present well-crafted, tailored solutions that address each stakeholder's specific needs and priorities.
Develop comprehensive strategic account plans that align closely with both client objectives and broader company goals for the fiscal year.
Work closely with internal cross-functional teams including product, support, and marketing to deliver solutions that effectively address client challenges and pain points.
Track and analyze account performance metrics on a regular basis, preparing detailed reports for leadership that highlight trends and areas for improvement.
Negotiate contract terms, pricing structures, and renewal agreements to successfully close deals while meeting or exceeding established revenue targets each quarter.
Provide consistent, value-driven updates and consultations to clients regarding new product developments, service enhancements, and upcoming opportunities for collaboration.
Manage the complete sales cycle independently, from initial prospect outreach and discovery calls through proposal delivery and final contract execution.
Collect and synthesize market intelligence along with direct client feedback to inform internal product decisions and shape future go-to-market strategies.
Represent the company professionally at relevant industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand networks and generate new qualified leads.
Partner with the marketing department to develop targeted campaigns and messaging specifically designed for key strategic accounts and high-value clients.
Address client concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal departments, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining strong trust.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in account management, business development, or sales with a verifiable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding performance goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical and commercial ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
A Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a closely related field is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Proven ability to manage a substantial portfolio of accounts simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and organizational standards.
Working proficiency in customer relationship management platforms and standard office productivity suites including spreadsheet and presentation software applications.
A self-directed and disciplined work style that enables independent operation and consistent deadline adherence without constant direct supervision.
Comfort and experience navigating complex organizational structures to identify, engage, and influence key decision-makers across multiple levels of a client organization.
