What you'll do
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of significant AI Platform and Data Systems programs, defining scope, planning milestones, and managing dependencies.
- Convert high-level objectives from IT leadership into actionable, trackable programs with defined success metrics.
- Act as the central point of coordination for major cross-functional efforts, working closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Provide clear, executive-level status updates to leadership, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Collaborate with technical leads to assess delivery capacity, understand technical interdependencies, and optimize project sequencing.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance program execution, developing automations for reporting and tracking.
- Assist with program and portfolio level roadmap planning and resource forecasting.
- Champion continuous improvement through retrospectives and contribute to an AI-native program management function.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into structured technical programs, ensuring alignment between stakeholders.
- Facilitate critical planning sessions and dependency mapping workshops to uncover the hidden complexities of AI initiatives.
- Drive the creation of detailed work breakdown structures to ensure every task is owned and tracked effectively.
- Monitor project health using data-driven indicators, escalating issues promptly to prevent delivery delays.
- Partner with product managers to ensure that release planning accounts for technical constraints and operational realities.
- Act as the guardian of the timeline, ensuring that key milestones are met without compromising on quality standards.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience managing complex, cross-functional technical projects, preferably in SaaS or enterprise technology.
- Proven ability to structure and deliver on initiatives where the objective is clear but the path requires definition.
- Demonstrated capacity to maintain program momentum and drive progress through uncertain environments.
- Experience managing relationships with C-level executives, including clear and composed communication.
- Strong background working with technical teams in AI, data, or platform engineering, capable of engaging in technical discussions and challenging assumptions.
- Familiarity with AI tools and a proactive approach to using them for workflow improvement.
- Proficiency with project tracking and program management software such as Linear, Jira, ServiceNow, or Asana.
- Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to drive accountability and alignment across teams without direct authority.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field.
- A track record of owning end to end program delivery from initiation through closure.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret program data and adjust plans based on real time feedback.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to engage in hands on collaboration with engineers and product leaders to solve difficult problems.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment across distributed teams.
Nice to have
- Practical experience building skills or multi-step workflows with agentic AI tools like Claude Code or Codex.
- Knowledge of AI/ML platform delivery, data engineering, data warehousing, or MLOps.
- PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification.
- Prior experience in a fast-growing cybersecurity or SaaS company.
- Experience working within a remote-first, distributed team.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and its relation to data and AI programs.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-level execution.

Practical notes
- Salary range: $110,900 - $159,500 USD
- Role may be eligible for bonus, incentive compensation, and equity.
