About the role
You will work directly with families who have already begun their search with A Place for Mom and guide them through the final stages of their decision. This is a high-activity, performance-driven inside sales role focused on re-engaging families, managing a pipeline of opportunities, and converting interest into move-ins. You will be responsible for consistent follow-up, strong consultative selling, and disciplined execution across every stage of the sales process. You will partner closely with senior living communities and care providers to coordinate tours and remove barriers to move-in. Your ability to follow through, guide effectively, and drive outcomes directly impacts both family experiences and business success for A Place for Mom. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping families navigate one of the most important decisions of their lives with clarity and confidence.

What you'll do
- Manage a pipeline of families who have previously engaged with A Place for Mom and require continued guidance toward a move-in decision.
- Execute consistent, high-volume outreach across phone, text, and email to re-engage and advance families.
- Drive outcomes by moving families from tour to decision, including scheduling additional tours and providing new referrals when needed.
- Apply a structured follow-up cadence to maintain engagement and prevent pipeline stagnation.
- Build trust quickly with families, understand their needs, and guide them to the best-fit care options.
- Partner with senior living communities and care providers to coordinate tours, share feedback, and support move-in conversion.
- Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in CRM to reflect pipeline status, next steps, and forecasts.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets and conversion expectations.
- Participate in ongoing coaching, call reviews, and training to continuously improve performance.
- Proactively identify roadblocks in the decision process and collaborate with internal partners to resolve them quickly.
- Update family profiles with nuanced insights to inform future outreach and personalization.
- Support the refinement of messaging and scripts based on observed behaviors and conversion patterns.
- Monitor competitor offerings and market dynamics to adjust positioning during conversations.
- Communicate emerging trends and feedback to product and operations teams to influence strategic improvements.
- Demonstrate ownership of the full sales cycle from initial re-engagement through move-in confirmation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a quota-driven sales role, preferably inside or phone-based sales.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a measurable and results-oriented environment.
- Experience managing and converting warm lead pipelines with a focus on re-engagement and move-in outcomes.
- Strong communication and active listening skills to uncover needs and address concerns effectively.
- Ability to multitask (phone + CRM documentation simultaneously) without compromising accuracy or quality.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to manage data and generate reports.
- Ability to work remotely with a high level of focus and accountability in a distributed work environment.
- Comfort owning a pipeline, forecasting accurately, and being held accountable for conversion outcomes.
- Resilience and discipline to maintain consistent activity levels despite fluctuating demand or rejection.
- Willingness to adhere to structured processes while applying judgment to optimize individual performance.

- Hourly Base
Salary: $51,500 ($24.76 an hour)
- On Target Earnings: $86,500 ($35,000 variable bonus (Uncapped)
