In this high-impact sales role, you will use deep insight and strategic guidance to help caregivers explore and evaluate the best care options for their loved ones. You will own the initial conversation from the very first call, ensuring the family feels heard and supported while aligning with the company mission. This position requires you to manage a high volume of interactions with professionalism, turning each inquiry into a clear path forward. You will act as the vital bridge between the family's immediate concerns and the long-term care solutions available through our network. Your work will directly influence whether families move from research to real-world action and eventual move-ins. What you'll do
- Work in a growing, fast-paced industry as an expert resource for families on senior care options, delivering an exceptional experience aligned to our company mission.
- Take inbound, pre-screened leads working remotely from your home office as an inside sales representative, working an assigned shift with strong schedule adherence.
- Conduct in-depth initial consultation calls with families to fully understand their unique situation and care goals.
- Educate families on customized senior care options, and work to find the senior living communities and home care providers that best match their needs.
- Act as the liaison between families and senior housing communities or care providers once you successfully complete the 4 week new hire training program.
- Reach daily production benchmarks by handling inbound calls and making outbound return calls to keep the pipeline active and engaged.
- Refer families out to appropriate communities and providers, ensuring each referral is thoughtful and aligned with the family's stated needs.
- Schedule tours for families so they can experience communities firsthand and move closer to a decision.
- Drive move-ins by guiding families through each step of the process with clarity, patience, and consistent follow-through.
- Represent A Place for Mom with integrity and professionalism in every interaction, reinforcing trust and confidence.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience in inside sales or inbound call center environments, demonstrating comfort with phone-based conversations.
- History of exceeding sales targets, showing a consistent pattern of performance above minimum expectations.
- Ability to multitask; simultaneously talk on the phone and take detailed notes on the computer without missing critical information.
- Strong computer and typing skills necessary, including confident use of Word and Excel for everyday tasks.
- Ability to learn and navigate internal CRM system efficiently to track leads, calls, and outcomes.
- Willingness to work scheduled shifts that include evenings and weekends, recognizing that family needs occur at all times.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to EEO guidelines in all interactions with prospects and colleagues.
- Compliance with employment eligibility verification through E-Verify as required by company policy.
- Understanding that APFM will never request sensitive personal information such as social security numbers during the recruiting process.
Practical notes
You will work a 40-hour work schedule on an hourly, non-exempt basis. Schedules are set based on business needs, and may include regularly scheduled evenings and weekends, along with some holiday shifts during the year.

Salary: $45,760 ($22.00 an hour)
- On Target Earnings: $74,000 ($28,240 variable bonus (Uncapped)
