About the role
You will own the strategic management of a portfolio of key 9fin clients, ensuring deep and lasting relationships that drive long term value. You will be responsible for identifying and executing account expansion initiatives, targeting a net retention rate of 135% across your book of business. You will demonstrate new platform features and products to clients, clearly articulating how these capabilities solve complex workflow challenges. You will engage with senior decision makers and influencers to uncover future product opportunities and shape the direction of 9fin solutions. You will translate client feedback into actionable insights for product and engineering teams to enhance the platform. You will attend relevant industry conferences and events to represent 9fin and strengthen the brand within the market. You will maintain accurate and up to date records of all client interactions and pipeline activity within the CRM system.

What you'll do
- Manage and cultivate relationships across a book of key 9fin clients to ensure satisfaction and growth.
- Drive account expansion by identifying new use cases and upsell opportunities that increase wallet share.
- Demonstrate new features and products from the 9fin platform to clients through tailored presentations and workshops.
- Attend relevant industry conferences and events to network and elevate the 9fin presence.
- Develop pricing strategies and commercial approaches to effectively upsell and cross sell additional 9fin products and services.
- Engage with senior decision makers and influencers at existing clients to understand future business and product opportunities.
- Maintain up to date records of client interactions, outcomes, and pipeline status via our CRM.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align product enhancements with client needs and market demands.
- Identify risks and advocacy gaps within accounts and implement plans to strengthen stakeholder support.
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless adoption and high value realization from the platform.
- Analyze usage data to uncover expansion signals and prioritize accounts with the highest growth potential.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally to influence product roadmaps and strategic priorities.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant account management experience within Capital Markets, B2B Sales or Business Development.
- A strong knowledge of financial markets and a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships within the buy-side, sell-side, and advisory community.
- A track record of managing and growing a book of enterprise clients with a minimum value of $1m+.
- Ability to plan and prioritize important tasks while working with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills that convey messages accurately and concisely.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Team player mentality, with the capability to work effectively alone while knowing that help is always available.
- Existing relationships or network within the Leveraged Finance community would be beneficial.

- This role is based in New York and requires physical presence in the office as defined by our hybrid working model.
