This position involves delivering on-site training, managing experimental design, and providing troubleshooting support to drive product adoption. You will act as the main liaison between customers and the company, bridging technical insights with user needs. In this capacity, you will conduct training sessions and product demonstrations at client locations to build confidence and competence. You will provide guidance on experimental design and data analysis, translating complex protocols into actionable plans. You will resolve technical issues related to software, instruments, and biochemistry, maintaining momentum in ongoing projects. You will collaborate with the sales team at seminars, trade shows, and technical symposiums to align messaging with technical reality. You will gather customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies, ensuring the voice of the field is heard internally.

Requirements
- Extensive background in genomics, molecular biology, biochemistry, or genetics, reflecting deep subject matter expertise.
- Proficiency with NGS workflows and associated data analysis software, or flow cytometry and its analysis tools, ensuring technical fluency.
- Fluency in written and spoken Japanese, enabling clear communication with local stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and training capabilities, engaging audiences and conveying complex ideas simply.
- Systematic troubleshooting and analytical skills, approaching problems with structured methods.
- Ability to travel up to 50 percent of the time, supporting clients across diverse locations.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service, prioritizing user success and satisfaction.
- Willingness to adhere to company communication protocols, using approved channels and templates.
- Capacity to interpret technical documentation and translate it into practical guidance for non-experts.
- Alignment with corporate standards for safety, data integrity, and regulatory compliance in field activities.
Nice to have
- PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Genetics, bringing deeper theoretical insight to practical problems.
- For BA/BS holders, approximately 5 years of relevant experience; for MS holders, approximately 3 years, matching depth of knowledge to credential level.
- Hands-on experience with bench techniques and cell culture, providing credibility during experimental discussions.
- Specific experience in single-cell laboratory workflows, understanding the nuances of these methods.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating comfort with relationship-building and expectation management.
