About the role
You will operate as a Senior Specialist Sales Engineer within the Data Security Specialist department. Your reporting line is to the Director, Specialist Sales Engineering. You drive a secure, cloud-enabled digital future for the Zscaler Sales and Go-to-Market team. This role cements our position as a global leader in cloud security. You will own complex enterprise sales cycles from first contact to closed deal. You translate ambiguous data security needs into clear Zscaler platform value. You act as a trusted advisor, shaping strategy and building executive consensus for transformation initiatives.

UK. Engagement is Full-time. Compensation ranges from £110,000 to £150,000 per year.
What you'll do
You will provide technical expertise and strategic advice to enterprise customers. You will take total ownership of the technical sales process and execution. You will independently deliver compelling sales pitches, technical presentations, and interactive whiteboard sessions. You will orchestrate end to end sales narratives for data protection platforms. You will architect interactive whiteboard sessions that reveal customer workflows and risks. You will champion Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange against competing security stacks in live scenarios. You will translate complex AI/ML concepts into business impact for executive stakeholders. You will navigate matrixed environments to align stakeholders and secure firm commitments. You will conduct discovery sessions that uncover hidden data movement and compliance pressures. You will refine value based selling pitches to address specific industry and regulatory concerns. You will partner with delivery teams to design implementation roadmaps that support sales outcomes.
Requirements
You hold a BSCS degree or bring equivalent systems engineering experience. You possess foundational knowledge of AI/ML and can position related security solutions. You demonstrate three plus years in pre sales roles within security or networking markets. You show a record of data protection and DSPM experience in enterprise contexts. You have a BSCS degree or equivalent experience as a Systems Engineer or Systems Integrator. You have 3+ years of experience in Pre-Sales roles, with at least 3 years selling security or networking solutions in direct or high-touch environments. You show a record of data protection and DSPM experience in enterprise contexts. You prove experience with Data Protection, DSPM, web-related technologies, and value-based selling within a matrixed GTM environment.
