Zscaler is seeking a strategic finance leader to serve as the regional commercial CFO for the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) team. What you'll do
- Act as the lead finance business partner for the SVP of APJ Sales and the broader GTM leadership group, providing strategic financial guidance and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to monitor business performance and identify new growth opportunities across the Asia Pacific region.
- Manage annual planning and recurring forecasting for APJ, including top-line revenue, expenses, and headcount, leveraging AI and machine learning tools for enhanced accuracy.
- Develop a comprehensive financial model and long-range plan to support the company's strategic goal of reaching $1B ARR.
- Partner with Sales Operations and Sales Compensation teams to optimize quota setting, territory planning, pipeline analytics, and compensation strategy for maximum effectiveness.
- Drive the analysis of pricing strategies and discounting to ensure healthy margins and competitive positioning in the market.
- Own the preparation and presentation of key financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support investment decisions and resource allocation for APJ initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track progress against plan and identify areas for improvement or course correction.
- Contribute to the development and execution of go-to-market strategies by providing financial modeling and scenario analysis.
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies, including experience positioning or securing AI-driven solutions for financial applications.
- Advanced experience in Sales Finance, Operations, or Strategy, preferably within an Enterprise SaaS company with a strong focus on financial planning.
- Proven track record of influencing executive leadership to guide decision-making and drive alignment across the organization.
- Deep understanding of sales cycles, territory management, quota setting, and compensation structures within a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities for P&L forecasting and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work model, balancing autonomy with team collaboration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
