About the role
Zocks is on the lookout for a Senior Consultant to assist financial advisory firms in integrating our AI assistant into their operations. This position involves close collaboration with leadership teams to develop and implement strategies that boost operational efficiency and foster business growth. Your contributions will be in redefining how financial advisors engage with their clients and enhance service delivery.

What you'll do
- Partner with leaders from home offices, branches, or regional teams at major Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), broker-dealers, banks, and insurance firms to drive practice management initiatives.
- Lead the deployment of customized practice management solutions that align with the unique strategies and objectives of each firm.
- Spearhead the execution of strategic goals, including the creation of firm-wide programs and the development of collaborative best practice materials.
- Travel to client headquarters, industry conferences, and partner meetings to conduct practice management workshops and serve as a subject matter expert representing Zocks.
- Facilitate discovery sessions to identify operational challenges and collaborate with clients on scalable solutions tailored to their needs.
- Develop and implement initiatives that promote the adoption of new practices and enhance existing client engagements.
- strong storytelling skills to convey complex data and technical information into actionable insights for leadership teams.
- Analyze industry trends and data to provide clear recommendations that drive strategic decision-making.
- Present findings and strategies confidently to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with the security and integration requirements of large financial institutions, particularly in relation to CRM and wealth management technologies.
- Work autonomously, demonstrating ownership of projects and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the full client lifecycle and the workflows associated with RIAs, broker-dealers, banks, and insurance organizations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an RIA, broker-dealer, bank, or insurance organization, with a proven track record of managing intricate industry workflows.
- In-depth knowledge of scalable client processes and advisory-focused practice models is essential.
- Demonstrated program management expertise, particularly in launching initiatives that impact large audiences and improve existing engagements.
- A consultative mindset with the ability to lead discovery sessions and diagnose operational challenges effectively.
- Excellent strategic storytelling skills, capable of simplifying complex data and technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with compliance, security, and integration needs specific to large financial institutions, including experience with CRM and wealth management technology.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and adaptability in ambiguous situations.
- Strong analytical skills, with the capability to identify trends and formulate clear recommendations.
- Confidence in presenting to groups, including senior-level stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM platforms in a financial services context is required.
- Candidates must reside in or be able to work core hours aligned with Mountain, Central, or Eastern time zones.
- Must be located in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IL, IA, KS, MA, MI, NE, NJ, NV, NY, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA, WI.

- Experience in a startup or rapidly growing company environment is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP would be a plus.

Practical notes
- The role requires travel approximately twice a month, with increased travel during peak conference seasons in spring and fall.
- The interview process consists of an initial 30-minute screening with a recruiter, followed by up to three video interviews lasting 30-45 minutes each.
