What you'll do
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for various projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.

- Mentor junior engineers and interns, sharing your expertise and guiding them in their professional development.
- Support the testing and validation of prototypes, analyzing results to inform future design iterations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness in all project phases.
- Assist in the development of project timelines and budgets, providing input on resource allocation and scheduling to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous design work.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with simulation tools for stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to address design challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work and meeting project deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical design and product safety.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or consumer products industries.
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping techniques.
- Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus.
