What you'll do

Monitor Live Sports Data across a wide range of European and American sports, leagues, and teams to ensure the accuracy of both live and static data.

Track and update statistics in real-time within our sports application to reflect the most current information available.

Identify, mitigate, and escalate potential issues, following documented workflows to ensure consistent resolution.

Stay updated on recent transactions, games, and statistics across a wide range of leagues to maintain context and accuracy.

Carry out research about leagues and players to fill knowledge gaps and verify complex data points.

Ensure the integrity of the content by scrutinizing details and confirming correctness before publication or display.

Act as the first line of defense against misinformation by catching errors in scores, rosters, and event timelines.

Adhere to strict schedules to align with the client's operational needs and broadcast or event timelines.

Utilize internal tools and databases efficiently to cross-reference data and validate entries.

Communicate findings clearly and concisely to the relevant teams for swift correction.

Maintain detailed logs of all monitoring activities and issues encountered during your shift.

Adapt to varying data structures and sports categories with equal proficiency and professionalism.

Requirements

Willingness to work flexible hours, including afternoons/night shifts, weekends as needed.

Native or near-native fluency in the English language is mandatory for the role.

You must possess a passion for sports and a deep understanding of various sports, leagues, and teams.

You must demonstrate strong attention to detail to monitor, track, and escalate live sports data accurately.

You must be able to handle repetitive tasks without compromising accuracy or focus.

You must be able to monitor live data streams and react promptly to changes or errors.

You must be able to follow documented workflows strictly to ensure consistency and compliance.

You must be available for the scheduled shifts, which include Tuesday-Saturday from 7am to 3:30pm and Sunday-Thursday from 7am to 3:30pm.

You must be located at the office in Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland for 100% onsite work.

You must be willing to sign a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension based on performance.

You must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace to support full-time onsite employment.

You must be able to start as soon as the position is filled to meet client demands.

Practical notes

This is a 100% onsite position at the office in Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland.

The schedule requires full-time hours, specifically 40 hours per week, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Shifts are fixed and determined by the Client's needs, with specific times ranging from 7am to 3:30pm or 10:30 am to 7:30 pm.

These hours are not flexible, and adherence to the schedule is mandatory.

The contract is for a period of 1 year, with the possibility of extension.

The desired start date is as soon as possible, requiring immediate availability.

Travel within the Cork area may be required for onboarding or training purposes.
