This role is responsible for managing the initial setup and integration phase for new payments clients joining the Weave ecosystem. You will function as a strategic consultant to ensure businesses effectively adopt and utilize our financial tools to drive their long-term growth and operational efficiency. The position requires ownership of the entire client journey from initial contact through full activation and beyond. You will guide clients through operational shifts with a focus on change management and clear communication. Success in this role is defined by your ability to translate platform capabilities into tangible business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align client goals with product functionality. Ultimately, this position ensures clients derive maximum value from their investment in Weave from day one.

What you'll do
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new payment clients from initial kickoff to full activation.
- Lead training sessions to align platform features with specific client operational goals and business needs.
- Oversee the deployment of hardware, software, and Text-to-Pay configurations to ensure seamless implementation.
- Create activation roadmaps that guide clients to complete their first three unique customer transactions efficiently.
- Provide strategic advice to help clients optimize workflows and improve financial performance through data insights.
- Track processing volume for six months after activation to ensure clients reach $5,000 in monthly volume consistently.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to share feedback and improve market strategy iteratively.
- Identify adoption risks early and design proactive solutions to mitigate potential client friction or churn.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for activation-related inquiries and troubleshooting during the critical setup phase.
- Document activation procedures and client-specific configurations to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication to resolve complex implementation challenges swiftly and effectively.
- Drive client adoption of advanced features to unlock additional revenue streams and operational efficiencies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in customer success, implementation, or activation roles, specifically within FinTech, payments, or SaaS environments.
- Demonstrated ability to consult with business owners and financial decision-makers to uncover needs and present solutions.
- Strong background in change management and guiding clients through significant operational shifts without disruption.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics related to adoption rates, client satisfaction, and processing volume.
- Ability to identify adoption risks and design structured solutions to mitigate them before they impact client operations.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and confidently.
- Capacity to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of attention to detail.
- Willingness to adhere to Weave's compliance and security protocols during all phases of client onboarding and activation.
