What you'll do
- Lead the design and development of complex systems for new product initiatives, ensuring they meet both technical and business requirements.
- Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, and product managers to define system specifications and architecture.
- Conduct system-level trade studies to evaluate different design options and their implications on performance, reliability, and cost.
- Oversee the integration of various subsystems, ensuring seamless communication and functionality across all components.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, and test plans.
- Implement and manage system verification and validation processes to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Analyze system performance data and provide insights to drive continuous improvement in product design and functionality.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, particularly in the automotive or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects from conception through to deployment.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements analysis, system architecture, and integration.
- Experience with software development processes and tools, particularly in the context of embedded systems.
- Familiarity with safety-critical systems and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 26262, DO-178C) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Nice to have
- Experience with autonomous vehicle systems or robotics is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in engineering systems.
- Familiarity with simulation tools and methodologies used in systems engineering.
