Software engineer, full-stack
Job description
About the role
You will own the full lifecycle of features that turn complex climate data into clear insights for customers like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens. You will translate ambiguous product goals into working software by writing, testing, and deploying code that customers rely on every day. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, climate scientists, and data scientists to refine requirements and iterate quickly. You will diagnose issues in production, debug data pipelines, and ensure the reliability and performance of the user-facing platform. You will contribute to decisions about architecture, trade-offs, and design so that the system remains maintainable as we grow. You will mentor less experienced engineers and help evolve engineering practices as the team expands. You will communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to keep alignment on priorities. You will continuously learn about climate data and sustainability concepts to build more informed product solutions.
