About the role
You will partner with the Mexico Senior Human Resources Specialist and the Mexico Human Resources Intern to ensure the seamless administration of critical people operations. This position is embedded within a team-oriented, collaborative environment where creativity meets innovation and every project blends visionary design with flawless execution. You will actively support the implementation and administration of key Human Resources functions including policies, benefits, employee relations, legal compliance, training, payroll, and health and safety programs. In doing so, you will help maintain a vibrant workplace culture that reflects the firm's commitment to community and industry engagement. You will own the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department under the direction of the Mexico Senior Human Resources Specialist. This role requires a proactive mindset as you assist with initiatives that strengthen both internal processes and external reputation. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of systems that ensure legal compliance and employee satisfaction. By supporting these efforts, you play a pivotal role in sustaining a culture where both people and projects can thrive.

What you'll do
Coordinate the intake of employee inquiries through multiple channels and route complex issues to the appropriate Human Resources expert for timely resolution.
Administer end-to-end onboarding activities for new hires, preparing documentation, workspace setup, and access provisioning in coordination with IT and department leads.
Execute offboarding procedures for departing employees, ensuring proper documentation, asset recovery, and compliance with organizational protocols.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within human resources information systems, updating personal, contractual, and performance-related data with precision.
Serve as a primary contact for benefits administration, assisting colleagues with plan selection, enrollment changes, and renewal communications.
Support the rollout of workplace culture initiatives, including wellness programs, recognition activities, and team engagement events across office locations.
Monitor regulatory updates related to labor law, health and safety standards, and equal employment practices, escalating relevant changes to senior leadership.
Assist in the coordination of training programs, scheduling sessions, tracking attendance, and gathering feedback to improve future learning opportunities.
Process payroll inputs in collaboration with finance, verifying hours worked, leave balances, and adjustments before final disbursement cycles.
Respond to employee relations inquiries with empathy and discretion, documenting interactions and supporting resolution in line with company policies.
Perform data analysis on human resources metrics, generating reports that highlight trends in recruitment, retention, and engagement.
Collaborate with the Mexico Human Resources Intern on special projects, providing mentorship and structured feedback to support professional development.
Ensure that all human resources procedures align with legal compliance requirements, updating documentation and workflows as regulations evolve.
Promote health and safety programs by coordinating communications, tracking participation, and maintaining records of training and incidents.
Requirements
You must possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
You must have a minimum of one year of relevant human resources or administrative experience.
You must demonstrate a solid understanding of human resources principles, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
You must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to manage multiple documents and spreadsheets.
You must have strong written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
You must be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information and payroll data.
You must be highly organized, with the capability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and follow through on details.
You must be comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced design and professional services environment.
Nice to have
Preferred candidates will have experience working in a design or creative industry setting.
Preferred candidates will be familiar with human resources information systems or payroll platforms.

This is a full-time position based in Mexico City.
Standard working hours apply.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Mexico without sponsorship requirements.
Travel is not expected as part of this role.
