Power Practice Lead
Job description
About the role
You guide client work from first conversation through final delivery, taking ownership of the entire engagement lifecycle and ensuring that each interaction builds long term trust. Daily choices you make shape how durable solutions survive long after launch, influencing both client outcomes and the firm's reputation in the market. You own outcomes for complex assignments that span several industries at once, balancing diverse expectations while maintaining a coherent narrative for every project. In this role, you synthesize strategy, design, and implementation into a single thread that clients can follow and act upon with confidence. You evaluate emerging methods, apply rigorous problem solving, and translate abstract concepts into functional systems that clients can measure and improve over time. Your leadership aligns with the strategic direction set by the corporate Chief Technology Officer, ensuring that technical initiatives advance the broader portfolio. You mentor junior staff through technical decisions while preserving their autonomy and growth, creating a learning environment that strengthens the team over time.

Position responsibilities
Technology and Innovation form one core domain of our business operations, where you evaluate emerging methods, apply rigorous problem solving, and translate concepts into functional systems. You take charge of technical initiatives, define roadmaps, and drive innovation that serves client needs while remaining aligned with corporate priorities. Your leadership involves assessing risks, validating approaches through experiments, and mentoring teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions that stand up under real world conditions.
Operations represent a second critical area where you ensure reliable execution across a portfolio of engagements, overseeing schedules, managing resources, and upholding standards. This requires average strength and stamina for extended focus during intensive sessions, as you navigate overlapping demands and shifting priorities. You work within a standard office environment that presents minimal exposure to noise, dust, or fumes, though travel to client locations is a regular part of the role. You maintain clarity on project status, surface issues early, and resolve them before they affect delivery, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
Business Development completes the third pillar, focusing on growth and client relationships as you interpret client needs, manage expectations, and convert opportunities into durable agreements. Your goal oriented approach ensures that projects meet schedules and satisfy strict requirements while reinforcing long term partnerships. You collaborate with corporate leaders, including the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Business Development Officer, to align initiatives with company objectives and identify paths for expansion. Through these interactions, you help translate market feedback into product and service improvements that create value for both the firm and its clients.
Requirements
You hold at least 3 years of experience leading projects in professional services, managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables with consistent success.
You can work in standard office settings with significant travel across client sites, adapting to different cultures, tools, and expectations.
You manage sustained focus during intense sessions and maintain steady performance even when deadlines compress and priorities shift.
You understand the frameworks that support benefits programs and professional growth paths, using them to structure engaging work for your team.
You handle enrollment and compliance topics related to total rewards and career progression, ensuring that policies are applied accurately and transparently.
You engage with forums and mentorship structures that support emerging talent, contributing your experience to help others develop new capabilities.
You advance through roles that link Technology, Innovation, Operations, and Business Development, demonstrating versatility across disciplines.
You communicate clearly and persuasively with both technical and non-technical audiences, adjusting your style to match the context and audience.
You build trust through reliability, following through on commitments and documenting key decisions so that others can depend on your work.
