What you'll do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable infrastructure solutions on cloud platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process, reducing time to market and improving code quality.
• Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle, fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
• Implement security best practices across all stages of the development and deployment processes, safeguarding sensitive data and applications.
• Manage configuration management tools and automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource utilization.
• Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate the team's overall capabilities.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance our DevOps processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of applications and services, aligning with business objectives.
• Document processes, configurations, and workflows to maintain clarity and continuity within the team.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems, ensuring rapid response to incidents.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or related role, with a proven track record of managing cloud infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications.
• Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and process improvement.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools, including Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• A proactive mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement in DevOps practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, particularly using Terraform.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Previous experience in a leadership role or mentoring junior team members.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert) would be advantageous.
