About the role
The Production Technical Department (PTA) is building its next phase, and we are seeking a senior engineer to lead production test and process capability. This role owns the design of systems that make production performance predictable at scale. The core objective is to build production technical maturity through robust verification routines, controlled parameters, workstation stability, and disciplined validation of changes. You will transform vague ambitions into repeatable frameworks that safeguard our global deployment.
This position is based in Copenhagen.
Key responsibilities
You will design intake workflows that capture environment details before tickets enter production queues, ensuring issues are triaged with full context. You will architect build pipelines that isolate new configurations until they pass staged verification gates, preventing unvalidated changes from reaching live services.
Establishing review checkpoints is central to this role, where logs, metrics, and alerts are examined for hidden risk patterns before they escalate. You will orchestrate ship routines that coordinate rollouts, monitor stability signals in real time, and trigger rollback when necessary to protect service integrity.
Partnerships with broadcast teams are essential; you will forge alliances to align camera systems with production technical requirements and operational constraints. You will champion verification suites that run automated checks across diverse stadium network conditions, simulating real-world deployments. Defining stability thresholds for workstations is another critical duty, enabling engineers to trust local test results instantly and work with confidence.
Mapping end-to-end paths is required to show clearly how video flows from capture devices to analysis dashboards, exposing dependencies and potential bottlenecks. You will maintain these maps to reflect changes in infrastructure and production workflows.
Requirements
Three years of experience managing complex production environments is mandatory for this position. Every change must pass structured validation steps before it reaches live services, ensuring risk is managed systematically.
Systems should log enough context to trace issues from alert to root cause quickly, reducing mean time to resolution. You need skill with camera systems, network setups, and storage subsystems in arenas to understand the constraints and capabilities of each component.
Working across time zones requires clear documentation and precise incident communication to keep teams aligned and informed regardless of location.
Nice to have
Experience with broadcast workflows and sports media delivery is preferred, as it aligns with the specific use cases and environments where Veo technology operates.
