Principal Engineer - Test Automation
Job description
About the role
You will architect and own the end-to-end test automation strategy for Veeva's mission-critical cloud platforms that serve the life sciences industry. You will lead the design and implementation of scalable test frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS products. You will collaborate closely with product engineers, quality assurance leads, and infrastructure teams to define testability requirements from the earliest stages of feature development. You will mentor engineers across multiple squads on testing best practices and automation principles. You will drive the adoption of modern testing tools and methodologies to accelerate release velocity. You will analyze test execution data to identify systemic quality risks and drive improvements in test coverage. You will act as a subject matter expert for test automation architecture across the organization. You will champion the shift-left philosophy by embedding quality practices directly into the development workflow.
