What you'll do

• Handle all phases of insurance coverage analysis and related civil litigation in state and federal court, from initial investigation through trial or settlement.

Requirements

• Hold an active bar license in Illinois, with no exceptions or provisional admissions permitted under any circumstances.
• Possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, and provide official transcripts as part of the credential review.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in insurance coverage and/or insurance defense litigation in either state or federal court, with verifiable casework demonstrating substantive responsibility.
• Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to write clearly, speak persuasively, and listen actively with clients and colleagues.
• Exhibit a collaborative approach to working with partners, associates, paralegals, and law clerks, contributing to team goals without requiring constant supervision.
• Maintain a diligent, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in continuous learning, particularly regarding evolving insurance products and regulatory landscapes.
