You own the technical narrative of our cloud-native banking platform, translating complex architectural concepts into compelling business value for financial institutions. You own the articulation of how our core and payments technology running natively in the cloud enables permanent legacy transformation. You own the demonstration of Vault capabilities through tailored and out-of-the-box product showcases that reveal distinct competitive advantages. You own the facilitation of strategic conversations that align client vision with achievable target state solutions. You own the generation of market intelligence by synthesizing insights from customer interactions and prospect feedback. You own the development of bespoke proposals that address the specific procurement and licensing challenges faced by banks. You own the credibility of responding to complex Requests for Information and Proposals with technical precision. You own the building of trusted executive and technical relationships across diverse stakeholder landscapes within client organizations.

What you'll do
You will conduct comprehensive product demonstrations that highlight both standard configurations and bespoke adaptations of our platform for specific banking use cases. You will deliver detailed technical and functional presentations that articulate the architecture, benefits, and operational characteristics of Vault to mixed audiences of engineers and business leaders. You will facilitate Target State Solution Architecture Workshops that explore the future operating model and technology blueprint aligned with client strategic objectives. You will lead Vault Solution Workshops where the final solution design is defined, identifying product fit and configuration gaps for resolution. You will gather and analyze market insights through continuous engagement with prospective and current customers to identify emerging trends and competitive dynamics. You will build and maintain trusted relationships with technical and commercial stakeholders ranging from CIOs to development leads at prospective and current customers. You will author and respond to Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal, ensuring responses are accurate, thorough, and commercially astute. You will develop tailored proposals for individual prospective clients that address unique business needs, risk profiles, and regulatory considerations. You will demonstrate commercial awareness regarding enterprise software licensing models, implementation methodologies, and complex procurement processes specific to global banking institutions.
Requirements
You must possess hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, along with associated services and technologies including Kubernetes, Docker containers, Apache Kafka, and RDBMS implementations. You must exhibit proficiency in component configuration and operations using command line consoles like kubectl and kafkacat, as well as general UNIX environments and tooling. You must have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and large-scale distributed software applications, including the architectural trade-offs inherent in different deployment environments and migration strategies. You must have in-depth knowledge of current technology trends in banking and fintech, demonstrating thought leadership and a credible voice on industry transformation. You must possess excellent communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and presentation abilities, with clarity and precision in complex scenarios. You must have the ability to lead client engagements and workshops effectively, managing diverse perspectives and driving towards consensus. You must have a background in fintech, vendor, or consultancy roles with extensive experience in client-facing positions and high-stakes environments. You must have familiarity with Enterprise and Solution Architecture principles, especially within the contexts of retail banking, core banking transformation, and payments modernization. You must have experience with development teams and solution architecture, including a thorough knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle from requirements through to operations. You must demonstrate commercial awareness, understanding pricing models, and the commercial aspects of the sales process within regulated industries. You must have previous involvement in pre-sales activities, demonstrating substantial experience in a sales engineering or pre-sales capacity. You must have direct experience in large mission-critical product implementations within large financial institutions from the vendor side, navigating complex procurement and stakeholder management scenarios.
Practical notes
You will work standard office hours with potential flexibility to support client time zones across global engagements. Travel may be required to meet with clients in Sydney and regionally as needed. Visa sponsorship is not applicable for this location as the role is based in Australia.
