Senior Software Engineer
Job description
About the role
Teraswitch is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the design and delivery of high-performance backend systems that power our global infrastructure services. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the critical backend services and APIs that drive our customer portal, billing platform, and internal operational tooling. You will work directly with physical infrastructure and hardware integration layers, translating operational requirements into reliable software workflows. This position requires strong collaboration with infrastructure, operations, support, and product teams to ensure end-to-end system reliability and security. You will be expected to make impactful technical decisions that improve systems over time and mentor other engineers through guidance and code review. The role is backend-leaning but values engineers who understand the full user experience from API to interface. You will contribute to both new initiatives and mature systems, ensuring continuity and performance at global scale.
