Associate - Telecom/WiFi - Multi Discipline
Job description
About the Role
The Associate in the Telecom/WiFi Multi Discipline track at Teecom operates at the intersection of technical execution and client collaboration. This role is designed for a developing mid-level consultant who will own discipline-specific deliverables while ensuring alignment with Teecom's documentation and coordination standards. You will transition from primarily production-focused work to applying professional judgment, managing defined scope, and delivering coordinated systems. This position emphasizes structured mentorship, disciplined documentation, and the progressive demonstration of leadership in project execution.
What You'll Do
Coordinate the development of telecom and WiFi system designs, ensuring alignment with project requirements and Teecom documentation standards through detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Support the delivery of multi-discipline projects by preparing coordinated deliverables independently or in collaboration with the production team, maintaining consistent quality and adherence to defined scopes.
Develop client relationships by communicating clearly and reliably, building trust through thoughtful coordination and dependable follow-up during all phases of project execution.
Participate actively in project meetings, programming sessions, and coordination discussions, representing Teecom's standards while gathering input from clients, contractors, and design partners.
Provide construction support for telecom and WiFi systems, addressing questions, resolving scope-related queries, and maintaining alignment with on-site implementation teams.
Contribute discipline-specific scope input during pursuit activities, helping to outline project requirements and identify potential technical or coordination considerations early in the process.
Prepare early fee assumptions for telecom and WiFi workstreams, supporting proposal coordination efforts and helping the team develop accurate and defensible cost projections.
Strengthen team practices by improving documentation processes, developing reusable tools, and sharing lessons learned to enhance collaboration and efficiency across engagements.
Engage in structured training journeys and mentorship experiences, progressively building technical depth, communication skills, and the ability to manage complex deliverables with confidence.
Demonstrate emerging leadership behaviors by taking ownership of project components, exercising sound judgment, and ensuring that all work reflects Teecom's commitment to quality and coordination.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery methods, identifying opportunities to refine workflows, documentation standards, and client communication practices over time.
Collaborate with senior engineers and project leads to coordinate designs, validate assumptions, and ensure that telecom and WiFi systems integrate smoothly within broader project environments.
Support the production of high-quality deliverables by maintaining detailed records, following established documentation practices, and proactively addressing gaps before they impact project timelines.
Act as a reliable point of contact for contractors, manufacturers, and design partners, facilitating clear communication and helping to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
You must possess the ability to consistently produce accurate, well-organized deliverables that reflect strong attention to detail and adherence to Teecom documentation practices.
You should demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to build trust and maintain clear dialogue with clients, contractors, and internal team members.
You are expected to show reliability and follow-through in managing defined scopes, meeting commitments, and supporting the successful execution of telecom and WiFi projects.
You must be comfortable working within a mentorship structure, actively seeking guidance when needed and applying feedback to improve the quality of your work over time.
You should have the capacity to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, balancing inputs from clients, contractors, manufacturers, and design partners to ensure cohesive project outcomes.
You are required to engage in structured training journeys, committing to continuous learning and professional development as you progress through defined skill-building milestones.
You must be able to prepare detailed documentation, including drawings, specifications, and calculations, that support coordinated project execution and informed decision-making.
You should demonstrate a willingness to contribute scope and fee assumptions during pursuit activities, helping the team develop realistic project strategies and expectations early in the engagement.
Nice to Have
Preferred experience with telecom or WiFi systems, including familiarity with related design standards, coordination practices, and client engagement approaches.
Exposure to project pursuit and proposal support activities, with an understanding of how fee assumptions and scope input influence project strategy.
Familiarity with tools and methods used to improve team documentation, streamline coordination, and capture lessons learned for future engagements.
