Product Manager, Enterprise
Job description
About the role
Synthesia is the world's leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US. As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations. Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow. This role is critical as AI video has moved from an experiment into standard tooling inside the world's biggest companies, and the next phase of growth depends on making that scale safe and manageable. You will own the layer that decides whether those accounts expand or stall, focusing on workspace setup, governance, the content lifecycle, and the analytics and integrations that close the loop. This is the work that turns a proof of concept into a seven-figure renewal, and right now it is wide open.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end roadmap for content lifecycle, governance, and the operational layer that keeps enterprise deployments running from workspace setup through compliance controls.
- Get close to enterprise customers to understand how IT admins, legal teams, programme managers, and content owners think about governance and what "in control" actually looks like at scale.
- Translate customer insights into clear product direction, defining what to build, in what order, and why while keeping engineering and design aligned as the strategy evolves.
- Work closely with the engineering manager and designer in the team, writing clear specs, making good trade-off calls, and providing the context that helps engineers build the right thing first time.
- Partner with Solutions, Customer Success, and Legal on complex enterprise deals, recognizing that these features are frequently deal-critical and the commercial loop matters.
- Define the metrics that indicate whether this layer is working, such as adoption of admin tooling, compliance feature usage, and reduction in support escalations related to governance gaps.
- Drive prioritization across a broad surface area, ruthlessly balancing options and making the case for what gets built next based on impact and feasibility.
- Own written communication, creating PRDs, strategy docs, and customer insight summaries that others can act on without needing a follow-up.
- Ramp quickly onto the complexity of enterprise buying motions, staying close to the commercial team on complex deals so that deal context directly informs product decisions.
- Build credibility and trust with enterprise stakeholders so that governance and compliance work feels less like a constraint and more like a strategic advantage.
Requirements
You are excited by the challenge of untangling the inherent complexity of enterprise platform products and know that governance and compliance work is not glamorous, but you understand it is the difference between a proof of concept and a seven-figure renewal. You can hold a conversation with a CISO and with a content creator, and understand what each of them needs from the same system. Significant experience owning a critical product domain, setting strategy rather than only executing, is expected. You have a track record of connecting product outcomes to commercial results, including ARR, retention, expansion, or equivalent metrics. You are comfortable working across a broad surface area, prioritizing ruthlessly, and clearly articulating why one option should be built before another. Strong written communication is essential, with the ability to produce PRDs, strategy docs, and customer insight summaries that enable action without additional clarification. You can ramp quickly onto the complexity of enterprise buying motions and are comfortable working closely with commercial teams on complex deals. You are based in London or open to regular travel, as the team is London-anchored and values in-person time.
